Long Wharf Theatre will present the classic musical THE FANTASTICKS. The production will be directed by Amanda Dehnert and will run October 7 through November 1st.

A reading of 'ON THE WAY TO O'NEILL'S: JFK IN IRELAND', a new drama by ANN G. BAUER and DAVID BECKETT that imagines the later years of John F. Kennedy, will be presented as part of the MIDTOWN INTERNATIONAL THEATRE FESTIVAL'S Reading Series.

Nonesuch Records and PS Classics are proud to announce the release of the original cast recording of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Road Show-from 2008's Public Theater production-on June 30, 2009. New York magazine described the musical as 'a boisterous picaresque about two brothers flimflamming their way from the Yukon to Boca Raton at the turn of the 20th century.'

KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY is a witty yet caustic musical comedy about a man who 'cannot take orders from anybody.' The limited run of the York production opened on Friday, June 26th and BroadwayWorld's cameras were there.

Nick Gaswirth ('Harpo Marx' in last season's Musicals in Mufti Minnie's Boys) will replace Bobby Steggert in the role of Brom Broeck in this weekend's concert presentation of KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY by the York Theatre Company. Mr. Steggert had to leave unexpectedly due to a family emergency. Also, Ric Stoneback (1776, Paper Mill) has replaced John O'Creagh.

The cast of 17 features Michael Cerveris and Alexander Gemignani as the two Mizner brothers. ROAD SHOW will run through Sunday, December 28th. ROAD SHOW had an official press opening on Tuesday, November 18. BroadwayWorld's cameras followed the cast as they arrived for the opening night party.

It was also the final line of Bounce, the Harold Prince directed previous version of Road Show, which for a time was to be known as Gold!, that that did not make its presumed arrival to Broadway after tepidly received engagements in Chicago and Washington, back in ought three.
