The producers of Cinderella announced today that television and film star Fran Drescher will make her Broadway debut as Cinderella's stepmother Madame, beginning performances on February 4th for a 10-week run through April 13 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Ms. Drescher takes over the role created by Harriet Harris, who concludes her acclaimed year-long run in the musical to return to her home in California.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced the full cast of Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall's production of Cabaret. The Tony winning musical by Joe Masteroff, John Kander and Fred Ebb will star Alan Cumming in his Tony Award-winning role as Emcee, three time Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams making her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles. The cast will also feature two time Tony nominee Linda Emond as Fraulein Schneider, four time Tony nominee Danny Burstein as Herr Schultz, Bill Heck as Cliff, Aaron Krohn as Ernst and Gayle Rankin as Fraulein Kost.

Producers Letty Aronson and Julian Schlossberg just announced that three time Tony Award® nominee Marin Mazzie (Passion; Ragtime; Kiss Me, Kate) will play the role of 'Helen Sinclair' in the world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY.

Broadway Records will release the original Broadway cast recording of the new musical BIG FISH digitally on Friday, February 7, 2014 and everywhere music is sold on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. The 2013 Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust honored playwrights Annie Baker and Rajiv Joseph at last night's 2013 Steinberg Playwright Awards held at Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E.
