Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee this Today, June 1, and Saturday, June 2, at 8 p.m. at THE BLACK BOX in downtown Franklin. Winner of the Tony and Drama Desk Awards for Best Book, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee has charmed audiences across the country with effortless wit and humor. The PG-13 tale of six socially awkward mid-pubescents finding joy, heartache and a purpose in competing at the regional spelling bee features a fresh and vibrant score by William Finn and an irreverent and wildly funny book by Rachel Sheinkin.

Previews begin this Friday, June 1 for the Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) world premiere production of LOG CABIN, a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Jordan Harrison (Marjorie Prime, Maple and Vine, Doris to Darlene at Playwrights; "Orange Is the New Black"). Directed by Tony Award and Obie Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park, The Qualms at Playwrights; Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Parisian Woman), LOG CABIN is the sixth and final production of the theater company's current 2017/2018 Season.

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce the 2019 National Tour of the Lincoln Center Theater Broadway Production of FALSETTOS, William Finn and James Lapine's groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical, will play Broadway In Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph) for a limited engagement May 28 - June 9, 2019. This production was nominated for five Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival when it returned to Broadway in Fall 2016. FALSETTOS will be part of Broadway In Chicago's upcoming season. Subscriptions will go on sale in the fall of 2018.
