The Green Room 42 has announced their March line-up for in-person performances. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest and most spacious cabaret club.

The American Opera Project, in partnership with NYU Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program and The Department of Design for Stage & Film will present UNDISCOVERED COUNTRIES, a series of three 30-minute filmed operas written in response to the chaotic, momentous year 2020.

Season Two of The Latest Draft Podcast premieres this Friday, February 12. After receiving dozens of submissions, the producers narrowed down the season to eight podcast musicals and 20 cabaret songs.

The first phase of #THEatreACCELERATOR program culminates in a live Shark-Tank-style pitch session where participants present their shows to theatre and tech industry veterans including Broadway Producers Deborah Taylor Barrera and Tom Polum, Tech Entrepreneur Helen Situ, Broadway Choreographer Michele Lynch, Investor and Producer Frank Kavanaugh and Investor Jonathan Ledden.

The BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop will present its top works at this year's showcase on Monday, April 1st at 3 PM and 6 PM. The shows will be held at The Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater in New York City (10 West 64th Street) and will premiere performances of the best of songs written and composed by recent members of this Drama League, Drama Desk and Tony honored workshop.   

On Monday February 18, A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio, proudly presented "From L.A. to Broadway," a cabaret featuring talented young actors performing songs from Broadway shows that had their origination on the silver screen.

The eleventh season of New York Theatre Barn's New Works Series launches on Monday, February 5th, 2018 with pre-premieres of 2 new musicals: Crossing Over and Alice, Wendy, Dorothy. Theatre Barn's eleventh season will explore 'Foreign Cultures and Fractured Fairy Tales.' Casting for both shows is by Eisenberg/Beans Casting (Daryl Eisenberg,CSA; Ally Beans, CSA).

Rosiland Brown (One Mo' Time, Footloose) and Linedy Genao (On Your Feet) are set to star in Bill Nelson's Nutcrackin' Christmas, a one-night, all-original, holiday brouhaha on December 5 at Don't Tell Mama.

Manhattan Musical Theatre Lab, a non-profit developmental organization founded 16 years ago by the late Director and Choreographer Bick Goss, announced that it will present a preview of the new musical #MARS at the St. Luke's Theatre on June 22 at 6:30 pm. (St. Luke's is at 308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues.) With music by Willem Oosthuysen and book and lyrics by Laura Kleinbaum, #MARS is the story about how CBS-TV has conducted a worldwide search for qualified Americans to man the first ever mission to Mars. Tune in as Miami's premier plastic surgeon, everyone's favorite romance novelist, a girl next-door type, a retired mathematician in a wheelchair, and an actual astronaut takes human kind's next giant leap.

CDP: Collaborative, Development, & Production is thrilled to announce its 5 Year Anniversary Concert at Joe's Pub! On Monday, August 4 at 8PM Musical Theatre Factory will be presenting its second round of 4x15, a developmental program in which four new musicals are each given five hours of rehearsal time to stage fifteen-minute excerpts that share one evening of presentations. The event is open to the public and also features panel of industry professionals who will give feedback to the writers after each showing. The new musicals featured in 4x15 - ROUND TWO are ONIEDA (Book and Lyrics: Beth Blatt; Music by Lizzie Hagstedt), DROP DEAD GORGEOUS (Book and Lyrics: Laura Kleinbaum; Music, Willem Oosthuysen), THE CRAFT - The Musical (Book and Lyrics: Brandon Michael Lowden; Music and Lyrics, Kevin Michael Jones), and FIREFLIES (Book, Music, Lyrics: Dimitri Koltunov). The evening features a cast of over 40 Musical Theatre Factory performers and volunteer creatives. The 4x15 industry panel includes director Travis Greisler (THE ORION EXPERIENCE), literary agent Alexis Williams (Bret Adams Ltd.), producers Ryan Bogner (RKO Productions) and Jane Abramson (Disney Theatricals).
