Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit musical School of Rock - The Musical will enter its second smashing year on Broadway with a new class of cast members.

The first successful Vampire Musical' with Book by Richard Hochberg, Lyrics by Jordan Beck and Music by Gerald Sternbach will be directed by Tony Nominee Dan Knechtges in a reading on October 7 at the Pearl Studios 500 8th Avenue.

At one point during WASTE OF SPACE, Chris Dwan began singing the lyric 'We're connected in our own sort of universe' again and again. That line came from an original track, 'All I Know,' co-written with Ross Baum. Making his New York City solo concert debut at Feinstein's/54 Below on September 6, Dwan did create his own sort of the universe, but the connections remained a bit unclear.

Additional special guests include Tony Award nominee Tony Yazbeck (On The Town, Finding Neverland, Gypsy) Will Blum (School of Rock, The Book of Mormon) Will Taylor (BENT, A Chorus Line) and Max Chernin (Bright Star, Brooklynite).

Sumptuously designed, beautifully staged and wonderfully sung, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella isn't the same show you may recall from childhood hours spent in front of a television or from scores of regional theater productions since, but with a new and refreshingly timely book by Douglas Carter Beane, along with the interpolation of four 'new' songs from the R+H canon, the elaborate new production that's fresh off its first-ever Broadway run seems the ideal interpretation for the 21st century.

CINDERELLA is the only Rodgers and Hammerstein musical that was originally written for television. Its first performance was broadcast live on CBS on March 31, 1957 as a vehicle for Julie Andrews, who played the title role. It was subsequently remade for television twice. The 1965 version starred Lesley Ann Warren, and the 1997 one starred Brandy Norwood.

Bucks County Playhouse opens their 2015 season with a new musical about baseball, NATIONAL PASTIME. This musical is a show that takes audiences back to the 1930s. It is a musical about baseball, but it also a show about the 1930s culture and radio in small town America. Under the direction of Hunter Foster, NATIONAL PASTIME is a lighthearted production that takes the audience back to 1933 and pays homage to days gone by.
