The 11th Annual Las Vegas Film Festival, partnered with CineVegas,announced this morning the initial programming lineup for the 2018 Festival, to be held at Brenden Theatres and Palms Casino Resort June 6 – 10. The lineup includes a mix of feature films and documentaries that have been favorites on the international festival circuit, as well as new additions to this year's Festival - live discussions and live comedy. 2018 also marks the first year with seasoned film festival programming veteran Mike Plante serving as the Festival's Captain of Strategy.

I never saw Sister Act, the Musical when it was on Broadway, but now this is my second Westchester go round with this musical. It certainly makes sense for Westchester Broadway Theatre especially to mount it since it gives a unified group of nuns the chance to belt and let their habits down to a 60's themed score.

The Citadel Theatre's Artistic Director, Daryl Cloran, and Executive Director, Chantell Ghosh, announced today the Beyond The Stage (BTS) Series line-up for the 2018/19 Season. This year's series will include six outstanding presentations that push the boundaries of traditional theatre through experimentation; from shows that tell stories in song to a production in which the actor is handed the script for the first time when he or she steps on the stage. BTS even includes a project that takes place everywhere in the Citadel except the theatres.
