Lane, and Wayne Pretlow. The ensemble includes Alexandria Bradley, Marshall L. Davis Jr., CK Edwards, Jeffry Foote, Shonica Gooden, Nina Hudson, Marla McReynolds, and Amber Barbee Pickens.

Encores! Off-Center Co-Artistic Directors Anne Kauffman and Jeanine Tesori today announced final casting for Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope, the third production of the Encores! Off-Center season at New York City Center. Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope will star Rheaume Crenshaw, Dayna Dantzler, Aisha de Haas, James T. Lane, and Wayne Pretlow.

TACT (Scott Alan Evans, Executive Artistic Director; Nora Chester & Jeffrey C. Hawkins, Associate Artistic Directors) is proud to announce that Adinah Alexander (Kinky Boots; Wicked; Parade); Marc Kudisch (9 to 5, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Bells Are Ringing, Finding Neverand); Liz Larsen (Tony nominee for The Most Happy Fella; Beautiful, the Carole King Musical; Hairspray); Nancy Opel (Tony nominee for Urinetown; Honeymoon in Vegas; former member of TACT); Andrew Samonsky (South Pacific, Drood); and Karen Ziemba (Contact, Curtains, Prince of Broadway), along with Alison Blackwell, Wayne Pretlow, Ric Ryder, Patton Chandler, and Ella Mora will star in an evening of song to benefit the company, supporting and celebrating TACT's mission and programming for the past 25 seasons. Lee Roy Reams (42nd Street) will host.

The stars came out for Nassau BOCES Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA) at the school's third Broadway Supports LIHSA fundraising event. The gala production featured Broadway stars who donated their time for a spectacular one-night only event to help raise money toward and awareness of LIHSA. The much-anticipated annual fundraiser for Long Island's only public high school for the visual and performing arts (LIHSA) has become a premier event for the greater theater community.

BRIGHT STAR's A.J. Shively to Lead Reading of New Musical CONRACK at York Theatre Company

The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and the preservation of musical gems from the past, in association with Quill Entertainment Company, as part of its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present the staged reading of the new musical Conrack, based on the novel The Water Is Wide by Pat Conroy, with music by Lee Pockriss, book by Granville Wyche Burgess, lyrics by Anne Croswell, additional music by Doug Katsaros, and additional lyrics by Granville Wyche Burgess.

Nikki Renee Daniels, Andre De Shields, John Larroquette & More Will Lead Starry Cast of Encores! 1776

Encores! Artistic Director Jack Viertel today announced casting for the Encores! production of 1776, the classic Tony Award-winning musical about how the founding fathers drafted the Declaration of Independence and gave birth to a new nation. 1776 will star Terence Archie, John Behlmann, Larry Bull, Nikki Renee Daniels, Andre De Shields, Macintyre Dixon, Santino Fontana, Alexander Gemignani, John Hickok, John Hillner, John Larroquette, Kevin Ligon, John-Michael Lyles, Laird Mackintosh, Michael McCormick, Michael Medeiros, Christiane Noll, Bryce Pinkham, Wayne Pretlow, Tom Alan Robbins, Robert Sella, Ric Stoneback, Jubilant Sykes, Vishal Vaidya, Nicholas Ward, and Jacob Keith Watson.
