Sea Monsters Revealed, an exhibition of the world's largest plastinated sea creatures, is in its final days at the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI). The exhibition made its world premiere debut on Saturday, March 9 and will be leaving Tampa forever on Sept. 2, 2013.

New Musical CLEAR Gets 8/27 Reading at NYTW, Directed by Stafford Arima

CLEAR, a new American musical by Paul Oakley Stovall (book, music and lyrics) will receive a reading in NYC on August 27th. Stafford Arima (Carrie, Altar Boyz) directs, with musical direction by Brad Simmons (Lysistrata Jones). CLEAR was first developed at the 2010 Eugene O'Neill National Music Theatre Conference, and has also received workshop productions at Dixon Place, About Face Theatre, and a concert reading at Pritzker Pavilion for the city of Chicago's IN THE WORKS program.

The sixth annual SUNSET STRIP MUSIC FESTIVAL (SSMF) came to a close on Saturday (August 3) with performances on the closed-off Sunset Strip for more than 15,000 fans by headliners LINKIN PARK as well as AWOLNATION, BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB, FINCH and STREET DRUM CORPS. Artists that rocked the East Stage included WALE, LOGIC, SLICK RICK & DOUG E. FRESH, ASHER ROTH and ZEALE. More than 30 additional artists performed throughout the day on the new Viper Room outdoor stage, as well as indoors at The Roxy and Whisky A Go-Go into the early morning hours. Festival highlights included surprise guests Chris Brown and rapper YG sitting in with WALE, Wayne Brady joiningDOUG E. FRESH's set for a freestyle session and drummer Adrian Young from No Doubt playing with STREET DRUM CORPS.

Last weekend in Los Angeles on Saturday July 27, Chita Rivera received the DIZZY FEET FOUNDATION INSPIRATION AWARD at a gala to celebrate dance, held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. DIZZY FEET was founded by Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Katie Holmes. Arthur Mitchell, founder of the Dance Theatre of Harlem, was also honored. Other guests included Jenna Elfman, Paula Abdul, Jane Lynch, Anna Kendrick, Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz, Cat Deeley and Wayne Brady.

The CW Orders Second Season of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?

The CW will keep the laughs coming, giving its hit improvisational comedy series, WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?, a second season order of 24 all-new, half-hour episodes, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW. The premiere date and time for the second season will be announced at a later date.

'Seasons' will be an eclectic mix of soul, r&b, pop and musical theatre standards pulled from the Contemporary American Songbook that will take concertgoers on a magical journey that explores all the Seasons Of Love. Recent Tony Award Winner Billy Porter (Kinky Boots) will direct the show with James Sampliner (Legally Blonde, The Wedding Singer) serving as Musical Director. Joining Thoms on stage will be another film, television and theatre star, special guest Wayne Brady.
