SEUSSICAL, Hit Musical Exploring the World of Dr. Seuss, Has Music Circus Premiere on 7/12

The 66th Music Circus season continues with the delightful and enduring musical Seussical. Explore the witty, wild and whimsical world of Dr. Seuss as you've never seen it before. Travel back to your childhood to the land of the Whos and the Jungle of Nool, and rediscover the delightfully zany characters imagined by one of the most beloved storytellers of all time. Created by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once On This Island), this is one visit to the doctor that neither kids nor parents will mind, an enchanting musical where anything's possible.

The 66th Music Circus season continues with the delightful and enduing musical Hello, Dolly!, Jerry Herman's award-winning tale of vivacious matchmaker Dolly Levi. Performances are Tuesday, June 28 through Sunday, July 3 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Rolando Sanz and Strathmore, in association with Bruce Cohen, Robb Nanus and David Bloch will present the world premiere of I Am Anne Hutchinson/I Am Harvey Milk, a musical celebration of two American icons, for a two-night engagement on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Music Center at Strathmore (5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda, Maryland).

The sold-out audience at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre was dazzled last night, March 21, 2016, by this year's stirring edition of Broadway Backwards. The annual celebration, where men sing songs originally written for women and vice versa offering this audience the chance to see LGBT stories told through the great songs of musical theatre, set a new fundraising record. The evening raised an incredible $480,287 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. The evening is produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefits BC/EFA and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of New York. New York City Center adds second performance of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun: In Concert starring Megan Hilty on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:30pm. The previously announced performance on October 27 is part of City Center's annual Gala. Three years after starring in the Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Megan Hilty returns to City Center as Annie Oakley in this concert staging of Irving Berlin's classic 1946 musical. Hilty will be joined by a Tony-honored cast including Andy Karl, Chuck Cooper, Judy Kaye, Brad Oscar, and Ron Raines.
