Tomorrow, Nov. 2, the legendary Barbra Streisand will release 'Walls,' her first album primarily consisting of original songs since 2005. But, today, BroadwayWorld has an exclusive FIRST LISTEN to one of the songs on the album, 'The Rain Will Fall.'

Tony Award-winning actress, singer and performer Idina Menzel's music video for her studio version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is out now. Watch/share the video HERE. The song comes from her upcoming album idina: live which is slated for release October 12. Along with "Bridge Over Troubled Water," Menzel recently released her live versions of Rent's "Seasons of Love," and "Don't Rain on My Parade" which premiered at Playbill and TheaterMania respectively. 

Tony Award-winning actress, singer and performer Idina Menzel is set to release her upcoming album, idina: live, on October 5. The two-disc album was recorded live on the final nights of her 2017 World Tour. The record is available for pre-order tomorrow Friday, September 7 and includes an immediate download of Menzel's studio version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water." The track will also be available for streaming on all digital platforms tomorrow. 

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), a professional membership organization of songwriters, composers and music publishers, announces its Top Holiday Songs for 2017. According to an ASCAP analysis of streaming and terrestrial radio data, 1994's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You,' written by Walter Afanasieff and Mariah Carey, moves to #1, joining enduring Christmas classics like 'A Holly Jolly Christmas'(written by Johnny Marks, 1962) and 'Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow'(written by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne, 1945), at the top of the charts. Home for the Holidays, Broadway's only Holiday show, stars Candice Glover, winner 'American Idol' Season 12; Josh Kaufman, winner of 'The Voice' Season 6; and Bianca Ryan, winner: 'America's Got Talent' Season 1. This strictly limited Broadway engagement opens tonight, November 21st, at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue) and continues through Saturday, December 30th only.
