The Joyce Theater Foundation (Linda Shelton, Executive Director) welcomes the return of Stephen Petronio Company to the New York stage. The remarkable stylistic range and exceptional musical artistry of the Grammy Award-winning Pacific Chorale, led by Artistic Director Robert Istad, will be on full display in its season finale on Saturday, May 7, 2022, 5:00 pm, at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa.

Choreographer Dam Van Huynh is presenting a new solo work, In Realness, an unflinching take on personal and global political issues that combines movement and vocal expressionist sound in response to social inequalities.

CROSSROADS is a dance, film, and cross-disciplinary performance series curated and presented by Pioneers Go East Collective. The spring 2022 series will feature works by 10 artists with diverse aesthetic and conceptual approaches to performance and storytelling.  CROSSROADS will take place Thursday–Saturday, May 26–28, at 8pm, at Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South (between Thompson and Sullivan Streets), in Manhattan. Stromae continues to command audiences worldwide, as his North American arena tour sees new dates added and others sell out, including added shows at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden and Montreal’s Bell Centre. A new show at the Shrine Auditorium has also been announced in Los Angeles.

Five Boroughs Music Festival and On Site Opera present the premiere of the Five Borough Songbook, Volume III with two performances: on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 7:30pm in a free concert at Brooklyn Public Library's Central Branch, co-presented by BPL Presents; and on Sunday, April 24 at 4:00pm at Trinity Lutheran Church on Staten Island. Choral Artists of Sarasota’s 43rd season, entitled “Carried Away!” continues with the long-awaited world premiere of “Listen to the Earth,” Sunday, April 24, 5 p.m., at the Sarasota Opera House. The concert showcases “Listen to the Earth,” a symphonic choral cantata by James Grant, an award-winning composer and part-time Sarasota resident. Also featured on the program is the “Song of the Universal” by Ola Ojeilo, Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “The Lark Ascending” and another work by James Grant, “Earth – Poem of Thanks to Our Common Home.”

The Charlotte Symphony will celebrate its 90th birthday with a concert led by Music Director Christopher Warren-Green, a live broadcast on WDAV 89.9, the launch of a free virtual archive, and an archival exhibit on the founding of the Symphony on display at the Belk Theater.
