Please join Producing Artistic Director, Wallace Norman and the cast of the Woodstock Fringe production of HAPPY DAYS by Samuel Beckett on Saturday July 23 at 4pm at the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum in The Phoebe and Belmont Towbin Wing for a lecture on the life and work of one of the greatest dramatists of the 20th Century.

Vampingo Productions has announced that it will present two special backers presentations of Buzz…Son Of A Bee, a new musical comedy spotlighting the actor's life - featuring a book by Andrew Johns, Lyrics by Ariana Johns and music by Darryl Curry. Woodstock Fringe honored by The Dramatist Guild Fund- Woodstock Fringe was recently honored with a grant from THE DRAMATISTS GUILD FUND to support the work of Woodstock Fringe - development of new plays through the work of the Playwrights Unit and the production of new plays during the annual Woodstock Fringe Festival of Theatre & Song.

Producers Scott Morfee and Darren Lee Cole have announced the debut of the new Summer Solos Series, a celebration of the best in solo performance and shows by acclaimed playwrights and performers. The one-night-only performance series begins June 18, 2009, continuing through August 4, 2009 at Soho Playhouse (15 Vandam Street). A special benefit performance of
Spalding Gray: Stories Left To Tell is scheduled for July 16, 2009 with proceeds going to the Spalding Gray Scholarship Fund. All performances begin at 8:00 p.m. Immediately following each
performance there will be a brief reception with the artist in the Huron Club, located inside the Soho Playhouse.

Spend a day with Virgil Thomson-one of the most remarkable, influential and controversial artists in the history of contemporary American music. From his bed at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City, Thomson ran the world of music as chief music critic for the Herald Tribune. The 'Father of American Music,' Thomson paved the way for his contemporaries who included Aaron Copland, Paul Bowles, Igor Stravinsky, Mark Blitzstein, Ned Rorem and Leonard Bernstein, among many others. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his score of the film Louisiana Story.
