AH, WILDERNESS! is a tender portrait of a sensitive teenage poet whose experience of first love leads him into the raptures of romantic poetry and the pain of heartbreak.

Returning for his 56th consecutive year as a Las Vegas headliner, internationally distinguished comedian, actor and entertainer Don Rickles will perform at The Orleans Showroom, Oct. 17 and 18.

Shakespeare & Company presented the first full American production of Red Velvet, written by Lolita Chakrabarti, directed by Daniela Varon, and starring OBIE Award-winning actor John Douglas Thompson last night and Broadwayworld's Stephen Sorokoff was there. BroadwayWorld has learned that Roundabout Theatre Company's 50th Anniversary Gala: 'Spring Gala 2016: Celebrating 50 Years of Extraordinary Theatre' will recognize the accomplishments of six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald and Roundabout's Chairman of the Board Thomas E. Tuft and present them with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre. The gala will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria on Monday, February 29, 2016.

American Conservatory Theater continues its 2015-16 season with Monstress, two world-premiere one-act plays about love, longing, and the American dream. Based on the short stories by Lysley Tenorio, Monstress was adapted for the stage by Bay Area playwrights Philip Kan Gotanda and Sean San Jose.

Joan Raffe, Jhett Tolentino, and Douglas Denoff announced today that two time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro's 'delightfully deceitful' comedy, Clever Little Lies, will play off-Broadway's Westside Theatre Upstairs (407 West 43rd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues), following critically acclaimed, sold-out runs at George Street Playhouse in 2013 and Guild Hall last summer. Starring Emmy, Grammy, and Golden Globe Award-winner Marlo Thomas and direction by David Saint, Clever Little Lies will begin previews on Friday, September 18th for an exclusive limited engagement through January 3rd, 2016. The official opening night is set for Wednesday, October 14th.

Tickets for the extension will go on sale this Sunday, July 12 at noon.
