Wall Street Journal Theatre Critic to Make Directorial Debut at Palm Beach Dramaworks

Terry Teachout, drama critic for The Wall Street Journal, playwright, librettist, and biographer, will add another title to his impressive list of accomplishments when he makes his directorial debut next season with Palm Beach Dramaworks' production of his acclaimed play, Satchmo at the Waldorf. The piece, in which Louis 'Satchmo' Armstrong reminisces about his life and career just months before his death, closes out PBD's 2015 - 2016 season.

The deVaron Lerangis Family Band (singer/composer/pianist Tina deVaron, and her sons, singer/composer/producer Nick Lerangis of the band, Evening Darling, and teacher/musician/historian Joe Lerangis of the American School of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia) will perform one show at Caffe Vivaldi on July 9th from 7-8pm. Comedian Tom Cotter has taken the comedy scene by storm since finishing as runner-up and becoming the Breakout Star from Season 7's America's Got Talent. (He lost to a dog act, but don't hold that against him.) Tom was the first comedian ever to be a finalist on the show and was the highest finishing human being on the show that year. In 2013, AGT asked Tom back to perform as a special guest star and then again to host The Season 8 AGT Snapple Viewing Party.

New York, NY-April 22, 2015-For his largest presentation in the U.S. to date, Philippe Parreno orchestrates a scripted series of events within the monumental interior of Park Avenue Armory's Wade Thompson Drill Hall-transforming the traditional exhibition experience through an interplay of film, sculpture, and the spectral presence of sound and light. H {N)Y P N(Y} OSIS (pronounced hypnosis) features recitals by pianist Mikhail Rudy and a soundscape designed by Nicolas Becker that respond to Parreno's work and the Armory's expansive 55,000-square-foot space. Choreographed together by Parreno, these works form an all encompassing and continuously evolving artistic composition of operatic proportions.

Hilton Worldwide (NYSE:HLT) announced today the signing of a franchise license agreement to open DoubleTree by Hilton Hilo-Naniloa, which will join DoubleTree by Hilton's 100,000-room portfolio and nearly 40,000-room global pipeline. The oceanfront property, formerly the Hilo Naniloa Hotel and Golf Club, will undergo an $18.5 million large-scale transformation. The 12-story, 3-tower, 388-room property plans to fully convert in December 2015.
