The legendary Friars Club featured a night of Brazilian Jazz and cuisine in the Frank Sinatra Dinning Room last night. Produced by Howard Leder and Hosted by Stan Gilbert it was a typical Friars evening of good comedy, good music, and good food. Guitarists Vic Juris (USA) and Romero Lubamba (Brazil) provided the rhythms of Brazil and the Friars kitchen created some special delicacies for the evening. The Stone Brothers supplied the always available Friars humor for the event.

The Blue Mountain Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by Carol Heft from January 29 - February 23, 2013. A Window that Shows Me the Moon will include works on paper that include collage, drawing, painting, digital images, and constructions in a variety of materials. Also included will be handmade books by the artist. Ms. Heft's work is inspired by an exploratory approach to materials, and the interchange of two and three dimensional space on flat surfaces.

In an exclusive four-week run, Ms. Buckley premieres her new collection of songs "The Other Women: The Vixens of Broadway." She will perform highlights from some of Broadway's most popular shows, but will celebrate the second female leads, who have introduced classics like "When You're Good to Mama" (Chicago), Another Suitcase In Another Hall (Evita), "I Know Things Now (Into the Woods), "Ribbons Down My Back" (Hello, Dolly!), "Whatever Lola Wants" (Damn Yankees) and "The Miller's Son" (A Little Night Music). Ms. Buckley - who will be joined by Christian Jacob on piano, Tony Marino on bass, Vic Juris on guitar and Todd Isler on drums - will also feature a selection from her new CD Ah Men! The Boys of Broadway, from Palmetto Records, which is based on last year's acclaimed Feinstein's show.
