"Love Songs for Jazz Lovers" will include love songs from the jazz standards songbook, and also lyrics written by Martha internationally known composers. Martha is constantly exploring the jazz landscape with a spirit of lifting and broadening her musical acumen. Her explorations have presented the opportunity to work with a wide range of world class musicians, including, Paul Smith, Benny Green, Richard Wyands, Harvie S, Eddie Marshall, John Clayton, Leon Joyce, Butch Miles, and Mark Isham, to name only a few.

Vic Juris made his recording debut on alto saxophonist Eric Kloss' Bodies' Warmth (Muse). He later gigged with fusioneer Barry Miles before hooking up with alto-sax burner Richie Cole, appearing on two hot, boppish offerings in 1977's Alto Madness and 1978's Keeper of the Flame (both on Muse). In the early '80s, Juris immersed himself in acoustic guitar, performing duets with Larry Coryell and Biréli Lagrène, and by the late '80s he joined bassist Gary Peacock's group.For the past 10 years Juris has been hitting the road hard with the Dave Liebman Group. With no musicians in the family, he taught himself to play and was soon appearing with rock and R&B bands throughout the tri-state area. But the young rocker's taste soon changed. In his late teens Vic discovered jazz and classical music. He was hooked. From there it was on to a career with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Phil Woods, Jimmy Smith, Sarah Vaughan, Chico Hamilton, Dave Liebman, Richie Cole, Mel Torme, Eddie Jefferson and Nancy Wilson.
