'VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul' premieres Monday, December 19 at 9 PM/8c on VH1.

The Civic Center of Greater Des Moines announced Des Moines' golden boy of jazz will be returning to Des Moines this holiday season for MAX WELLMAN - HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS Dec. 15 to 18, 2011 at the Temple Theater as an additional add-on to the LIVE AT THE TEMPLE concert series package which is on on sale now at CivicCenter.org and the Civic Center Ticket Office.

Previews began on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 for the first ever Broadway production of OLEANNA, the provocative drama by Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet. Starring Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (Doubt), the play is a gripping account of a power struggle between a male university professor and one of his female students. The Broadway production celebrated Opening Night on Sunday, October 11 at at The Golden Theatre and BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there.

A party was held on Thursday night, September 15th at Bond 45 to welcome Brooke Shields to the Broadway company of Chicago. Shields joined the company as ROxie Hart on September 9th after a summer-run of the same part in the London production of Chicago.
