Frankenstein Junior (titolo originale Young Frankenstein) e un musical del 2007, trasposizione teatrale dell'omonimo film di Mel Brooks con musiche e liriche dello stesso Brooks, libretto di Brooks e Thomas Meehan e regia originale di Susan Stroman. La versione italiana, curata dalla Compagnia della Rancia, si avvale della regia di Saverio Marconi e Marco Iacomelli e di un cast capitanato da Giampiero Ingrassia (Frederick Frankenstein), Mauro Simone (Igor), Valentina Gullace (Inga), Giulia Ottonello (Elizabeth) e Altea Russo (Frau Blucher). Seguono Fabrizio Corucci (la Creatura), Felice Casciano (Ispettore Kemp), Roberto Colombo (Victor Frankenstein), Davide Nebbia (Abelardo), Michele Renzullo (Ziggy), Giorgio Camandona, Paola Ciccarelli, Anna Bodei e Francesca di Cresce. Thomas DiNapoli, the New York State Comptroller, who honored him with a Proclamation for artistic merit. It follows a previous one issued on October 7, 2013, by the Westchester County Executive, Hon. Manhattan Theatre Club has announced that due to overwhelming demand, THE COMMONS OF PENSACOLA, the world premiere play currently in rehearsals at MTC, is extending an additional three weeks. The limited engagement, which begins previews on Tuesday, October 22 in advance of a Thursday, November 21 opening at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street), must close on Sunday, January 26. This is the last possible extension for the production.
