Single tickets to Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Harvey Fierstein's CASA VALENTINA, are on sale today, Monday, September 23 at 12PM. Directed by Joe Mantello, CASA VALENTINA will be produced by special arrangement with Colin Callender, Robert Cole, Frederick Zollo and the Shubert Organization. The limited engagement will begin previews on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 and open Wednesday, April 23, 2014 on Broadway at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

Dopo un primo showcase tenuto quest'estate e qualche data estiva di try-out, L'Ultima Strega - frutto dello sforzo produttivo di GiuliaEventi - debutta al Teatro Brancaccio, tentando il contatto con il pubblico romano (che, si sa, non e certo uno dei piu facili da conquistare!). Cominciamo dalle definizioni. Nel corso del tempo, in locandina, sono apparse varie diciture: pop musical, il musical - pop drama, musical drama... ma, in fin dei conti, cos'e L'Ultima Strega? Sicuramente, non e un musical (almeno, non in senso stretto). Abbandonando le solite disquisizioni scolastiche sulla distinzione piu o meno netta delle varie declinazioni di teatro musicale, il musical - nell'accezione piu americana del termine - e una produzione teatrale, televisiva o cinematografica che fonde dialogo, canto e danza per raccontare una storia convincente in modo convincente.

She marked her Broadway debut in 1982 as Vera Baronova in the revival of On Your Toes, featuring Balanchine's Slaughter on Tenth Avenue ballet. Ms. Kozlova joined the New York City Ballet in 1983 as Principal Dancer and remained with the company until 1995, dancing lead roles choreographed by such dance icons as George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins, Peter Martins, Richard Tanner and Eliot Feld.

The Bulgarian choreographer/writer Katrandjieva deftly follows nine characters living on the edge of uncertainty. They are challenged to co-exist in a muted world, deprived temporarily of sensory perception, and are required to 'exit, extract, excavate, expand, and exhale' in order to reset their natural balance. Katrandjieva's colleagues for film, visuals, costumes, and music include three-time Emmy winner Kalin Ivanov, video artist and filmmaker.
