Tony Award-Winner Adriane Lenox (After Midnight, Doubt), Tony Award-nominees Anita Gillette (Neil Simon's Chapter Two) & Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde), Drama Desk-nominees Aaron Lazar (LES MISERABLES, A Little Night Music), Patrick Page (Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark, Cyrano, the upcoming Casa Valentina by Harvey Fierstein), Nancy Anderson (Jolson & Company, Wonderful Town, A Class Act), and Jeffry Denman (Yank!, Irving Berlin's White Christmas) were among the many stars to appear in Town Hall's Broadway by the Year Series last night- THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1940-1964.

CASA VALENTINA, the new play by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, begins performances tonight, April 1 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47thStreet). The world premiere production is set to open on Broadway Wednesday, April 23.

Following sell-out shows at VAULT Festival in London, Harry Blake and Alice Keedwell are back with HOUSE OF BLAKEWELL'S HOUSE PARTY. The amazing cabaret duo go 'urban' in this exciting all-singing, all-dancing musical revue, filled with their signature selection of toe-tapping, original showstoppers. The show will run at the Marlborough Theatre at Brighton Fringe, 2nd, 3rd and 31st May and 1st June 2014, 9pm.

Only on Broadway it is normal to spot Walter White and Harry Potter within blocks of each other. That's right, this season's stunning slate of plays has brought with it a slew of stars from Bryan Cranston to Daniel Radcliffe, Audra McDonald to James Franco, Tyne Daly to Denzel Washington. In just weeks, a whole new group of productions will have officially opened- adding ten new plays to the Broadway roster.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2013 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards, totaling $1,108,000, allow 39 productions extra time in the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, helping to extend the life of the play after its first run.
