A meditation on America's relationship to our land, our resources, and ourselves, BabsonARTS will present ETHEL's Documerica, a multimedia concert that melds multiple screen video projections with original music by some of today's top composers and performed with electrifying virtuosity by the indie-classical quartet ETHEL, tonight, October 23, 8 p.m. at Carling-Sorenson Theater 213 Forest Street at Babson College. An ever-evolving artist, Calvert's latest project is a collaboration with two household names in jazz: Grammy® award-winning Ulysses Owens, Jr. (Producer/Drums) and Grammy® award-winning Laurence Hobgood (Arranger/Piano), renowned for their imagination and artistry. Park Avenue Armory Welcomes Meiyin Wang as First Curator of Artist-in-Residence Program

Park Avenue Armory announced today that it has appointed Meiyin Wang as Curator of its expanding Artist-in-Residence program-an initiative that supports the development of new, collaborative, and explorative works by artists creating at the intersection of different disciplines. Wang, renowned for her on-going work as Co-Director of The Public Theater's Under The Radar Festival and Director of the Devised Theater Initiative, has deep experience working with emerging and established artists. In this newly created position, Wang is responsible for the development of the Artist-in-Residence program in coordination with Armory President and Executive Producer, Rebecca Robertson, and oversees the Under Construction series, which showcases works developed during the residencies.

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Denison University announces the launch of its first Ensemble-in-Residence program, a collaboration between the Department of Music and the Vail Series. The Ensemble-in-Residence program will engage the entire campus and the greater community in an exploration of music and other academic disciplines. The program will host the renowned string quartet ETHEL for the 2014-2015 academic year.
