Filmmaker Art Holliday's music documentary JOHNNIE BE GOOD will be going after finishing funds in a style that would make St. Louis native and Rock-n-Roll Hall of Famer Johnnie Johnson proud. 'Johnnie's Jam: A Tribute to Johnnie Johnson,' a fundraising concert, will be held September 19th' at The Sheldon. Artistic Director/CEO Kate Maguire is pleased to announce that Tony® award winner Sutton Foster will be bringing her cabaret performance An Evening with Sutton Foster to Berkshire Theatre Festival on August 22 at 7pm on the historic Main Stage. Tickets for the evening are $25 and $45, with a limited number of VIP tickets at $70. VIP tickets feature prime seating locations and admission to an exclusive post-show reception featuring the artists. This evening of song and laughter, presented with her Musical Director Michael Rafter accompanying, is fueled by Ms. Foster's sparkling wit and incredible voice. Filmmaker Art Holliday is hosting a September 19th fundraising concert 'Johnnie's Jam: A Tribute to Johnnie Johnson' at The Sheldon for his music documentary JOHNNIE BE GOOD, the story of St. Louis native and Rock-n-Roll Hall of Famer Johnnie Johnson. This film is also featured on the site IndieGoGo where people can 'buy' various tax deductible items from the film while helping Mr. Holliday build up the funds needed to finish the film.

WONDERLAND: A New Alice. A New Musical Adventure will open on Broadway Sunday, April 17, 2011 and performances will begin Monday, March 21, at a Nederlander theatre to be announced. The musical will be directed by Gregory Boyd, the artistic director of the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas, with a book by Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy (The Civil War -Tony nomination) and lyrics by Jack Murphy, music by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde - Grammy nomination, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Civil War - Tony nomination, Dracula, Victor/Victoria) and choreography by Marguerite Derricks (Fame, Emmy Awards for '3rd Rock From The Sun' and 'Fame LA'). WONDERLAND: A New Alice. A New Musical Adventure will play a pre-Broadway engagement at the Ferguson Hall at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts (Judy Lisi, President and CEO) in Tampa, Florida January 4 through January 16, 2011.

Yesterday, June 8, Chely Wright hosted her 10th Annual 'Reading, Writing, and Rhythm' event in Nashville. The concert took place at the Tennessee Performing Art Center's James K Polk Theater.
