Food Network & Cooking Channel Announce 2012 Programming Line-Up

Food Network and Cooking Channel look to again satiate the audiences' appetite, showcasing a 2012 line-up of returning favorites and new programming faces and formats, including -- 22 new series and 35 returning shows across both networks, as announced today by Brooke Johnson, President, Food Network & Cooking Channel.

Food Network to Premiere Trisha Yearwood's SOUTHERN KITCHEN, 4/14

Music superstar and best-selling cookbook author Trisha Yearwood brings her family-inspired recipes and food traditions to Food Network this spring, with the premiere of the new daytime series TRISHA'S SOUTHERN KITCHEN on Saturday, April 14th at 10:30am ET/PT.

Lincoln Center's A CELEBRATION OF PAUL NEWMAN’S DREAM to Feature Josh Groban, Jake Gyllenhaal, 4/2

On April 2, 2012, at New York's Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center, musical artists and stars will come together to show their support for a special evening billed as "A Celebration of Paul Newman's Dream," to benefit Paul Newman's Association of Hole in the Wall Camps. The event will feature performances by world-renowned performing artists, the campers themselves and a special announcement about the Association's global network of camps. Performances will include GRAMMY-winning and GRAMMY-nominated musicians: Josh Groban, Paul Simon and Trisha Yearwood, as well as additional surprise musical performances throughout the evening and appearances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Jimmy Fallon, with more to be announced. Ticket sales from the evening - which is supported by Newman's Own Foundation and hosted by Joanne Woodward, produced by Kevin Duncan and directed by Josh Rhodes - will benefit Paul Newman's family of camps and programs supporting children facing serious illnesses from around the world.

The Harris Theater for Music and Dance will co-present the Morehouse College Glee Club, as it celebrates its monumental 100th Anniversary season. The Morehouse College Glee Club and the renowned Morehouse College Glee Club Quartet will make its Harris Theater debut on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 7:30 pm with 'the stirring and soulful performances that have earned the ensembles a reputation for excellence.'

Cledus T. Judd of Tampa's WQYK to Appear at Side Splitters Comedy Club, 2/23-26

Cledus T. Judd is an American country music artist well known primarily for his parodies of popular country music songs. He has been called the 'Weird Al' Yankovic' of country music. He has released over 20 music videos, nine studio albums and two EPs, with several of the singles entering Billboard's Hot Country Songs charts.

Kurt Peterson & Victoria Mallory Reunite for 'When Everything Was Possible' Concert, 4/29

James William Productions and Stephenie Skyllas will present Kurt Peterson and Victoria Mallory in When Everything Was Possible, A Concert (with comments), for one night only, Sunday April 29th (7:30pm) at New York City Center (131 West 55th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues), as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. They will be joined by a thirteen-piece band (Michael Rafter, Music Director), playing new orchestrations by Tony Award winner Jonathan Tunick. Larry Moss directs, with musical staging by Joshua Bergasse ("Smash"). Carolyn Wong will provide lighting design, with sound design by Leon Rothenberg and projection design by Telegraphicmedia.

Taylor Swift Honored with Symphony Ball Harmony Award

Taylor Swift will receive the 2011 Harmony Award, Symphony Ball Chairs Mrs. Steven Eskind (Laurie) and Mrs. Bennett Frederick Horne Jr. (Vicki) announced today. The four-time GRAMMY® winner, reigning Billboard Top 200 Albums Artist and Academy of Country Music and Entertainment Weekly Entertainer of the Year will be presented the award at the 27th annual Symphony Ball on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

BONNIE & CLYDE Opens on Broadway Tonight

BONNIE & CLYDE is currently playing at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The show began previews on Friday, November 4th and opens tonight, December 1st!

Full Cast Announced for BONNIE & CLYDE on Broadway

The producers of the new musical BONNIE & CLYDE announced the complete cast of the show. Previously announced stars Laura Osnes (2011 Drama Desk nominee, Anything Goes) and Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, West Side Story) will be joined on stage by Melissa van der Schyff (Big River) as Blanche Barrow, Claybourne Elder (Road Show) as Buck Barrow, Joe Hart (The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public) as Sheriff Schmid and Louis Hobson (Next to Normal) as Ted Hinton.
