A smash hit on Broadway, the West End and worldwide, this hugely popular coming of age satire based on the much loved Sesame Street features puppets and puppeteers alongside human actors. The producers behind the first UK Tour of Spring Awakening and West End production of Seussical will be embarking on a ten week tour of the Tony Award winning musical comedy following a run in their resident venue Greenwich Theatre.

Stepping in to this show is a big deal for me. How do you take a role that has been immortalized by amazing talents such as Joel Grey, Alan Cumming, and Adam Pascale? No matter how good of a job I do, there are comparisons that are going to been drawn. How do you make a role your own when it has already belonged to so many talented men?

Some of the life lessons Sesame Street never quite taught us are "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" and "You Can Be as Loud as the Hell You Want (When You're Making Love)". But these lessons and songs, and many more, can be found in the Shepherd University Music Department production of Avenue Q, opening February 7.

Jennifer Barnhart - who made her Broadway debut in 2003 in the original cast of the Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q - returns to the long-running hit at New World Stages (340 W. 50 St.) starting with the Monday, November 11 performance at 8 pm. Ms. Barnhart will perform the roles she helped create over 10 years ago: as a Bad Idea Bear, kindergarten school principal Mrs. T, as well as her trademark 'second-hand' work with puppets Nicky and Trekkie Monster.

The popular, funny and slightly edgy musical, Avenue Q continues to run in the Long Beach Playhouse Studio Theater through November 16, 2013? By now most people know the play is a coming of age story told by puppets eerily reminiscent of Sesame Street. But these puppets live a few metaphorical blocks away on Avenue Q. Unlike a puppet show in which the human puppeteers are not part of the action, in Avenue Q, the audience gets the equivalent of a two-for-the-price-of-one experience as both the puppet and the puppeteer are part of the cast.

Magic Mirror Productions will bring the smash hit West End and Tony award Winning Musical AVENUE Q to Theatre Royal Windsor. Dubbed 'the Musical of The Decade' by the Sunday Times newspaper, Avenue Q is a hybrid of South Park and the Muppet Show in an all singing, all dancing musical 'fur-fest' that is sure to have you crying with laughter and roaring with joy!
