He's limited his touring schedule in recent years to raise a family, but Tracy Byrd is back on the road, celebrating 25 years since his first #1 single “Holdin' Heaven.” The Harris Center welcomes Tracy and his own special brand of classic country music to Folsom. He's known as a nice guy — “people should know he's one of the good ones” (Tulsa World) — and his long list of hits speak for themselves: “Watermelon Crawl,” “The Keeper of the Stars” (winner of the Country Music Association Song of the Year), “Big Love,” and all the rest.

Superstar songwriters Rafe Van Hoy, Marla Cannon-Goodman, Dale Dodson, Waylon Payne, Don Sampson and Ronnie Bowman will pay tribute to Hank Cochran and Red Lane at 3rd & Lindsley (816 3rd Ave. South) on Wednesday, January 17 to benefit The Hank Cochran Pen Fund. Tickets are $10; doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30. The 501(c)(3) charity focuses its efforts on financially assisting songwriters with cancer.
