Second Stage Theater, now celebrating its 40th Anniversary, will host their Fall Benefit on Monday, November 12 at Terminal 5 (610 West 56th Street), honoring Tony Award winner and Second Stage Theater alum Harvey Fierstein. The evening will feature performances and appearances by Cyndi Lauper, Billy Porter, Rosie O'Donnell, Annaleigh Ashford, Keala Settle, Wayne Brady, Christopher Sieber, Michael Urie and Marissa Jaret Winokur and the original Hairspray Dynamites.

Continuing its 40th Anniversary Season, Second Stage Theater will present the world premiere of Steven Levenson's play, Days of Rage, directed by Trip Cullman. Currently celebrating its 40th Anniversary Season, Second Stage Theater has announced that Terry Lindsay, a current Trustee of the Board, and Timothy J. McClimon, Trustee and President, American Express Foundation and Senior Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility, American Express, have been elected as Co-Chairs of Second Stage's Board of Trustees, effective September 1, 2018. Additionally, Laurie Erlandson and Peter Lichtenthal have both been voted on as new members of the Board of Trustees. Former Chairman Stephen C. Sherrill will remain on the Board, joining Tony Kiser as a Chairman Emeritus.

The box office for LOBBY HERO at Second Stage's Hayes Theater (240 West 44th street) will officially open on Tuesday, February 13 at 12pm (EST). The first 10 ticket buyers in line will receive a special sneak peek of the newly renovated landmark Theater. The Hayes Theater box office will be open Tuesdays - Sundays from 12:00pm to 6:00pmor until curtain. It is closed Mondays.

Second Stage Theatre will soon present the world premiere production of Greg Pierce's play, Cardinal, directed by Kate Whoriskey. Cardinal will begin previews Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Tony Kiser Theater (305 West 43rd Street) and will officially open on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.
