Both Sides Now! Judy Collins Brings Her Iconic Vocals To The McCallum Theatre

Through the generosity of Sue and Artie Buerk, the McCallum Theatre presents Judy Collins on Thursday, March 1, at 8:00pm. The award-winning singer-songwriter is esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions. Her stunning rendition of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" from her landmark 1967 album Wildflowershas been entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Judy's dreamy and sweetly intimate version of "Send in the Clowns," a ballad written by Stephen Sondheim for the Broadway musical A Little Night Music, won 'Song of the Year" at the 1975 Grammy Awards.

Suzzy Roche and Lucy Wainwright Roche Come to The Sheen Center

Launching the new live music series Back On Bleecker Street: Music For Social Change,Suzzy Roche and Lucy Wainwright Roche bring their latest collaboration, 'Mud and Apples,' to the stage of The Sheen Center's Loreto Theater. The album is a mix of original songs and covers of much-loved music by icons such as Joni Mitchell and Stevie Nicks. The concert includes a discussion with Suzzy and Lucy hosted by Dennis Elsas of WFUV Radio.  

The Irish Rovers Bring The Party To The Southern Theatre

For more than half a century, this Celtic super-group has charmed and entertained audiences around the world with their exciting stage shows and live performances of their original rollicking drinking songs and beautiful ballads. Regularly touring the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, The Irish Rovers' hits such as "The Unicorn," "Wasn't That a Party," and "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" have sold millions of copies worldwide. On this final world tour, the Unicorn Tour 2018, the band hopes to bid a proper farewell to all those they have entertained for these many years.

The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture has announced its 2018 Winter/Spring season, a rich program of theater, film, music, poetry and talk events featuring artists and thought leaders including NBC's Megyn Kelly, MSNBC host Chris Matthews and CNBC senior contributor Larry Kudlow, indie singer-songwriter mother-and-daughter duo Suzzy Roche and Lucy Wainwright Roche, celebrated author Sapphire,actress-singer-songwriter Grace McLean, Fox News' chief national correspondent Ed Henry, Director of the Vatican Observatory Br. Guy Consolmagno, S.J., author George Weigel, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, and events tackling themes ranging from civility in the American media, race in America, science and spirituality, J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, as well as Lessons In Hope.
