Bellevue Little Theatre Presents OKLAHOMA! Now thru 9/28

Bellevue Little Theatre, 203 W. Mission in Bellevue, will open its 2014--15 season, the theatre's 46th, tonight, Sept. 12. with the classic Rogers and Hammerstein musical, 'Oklahoma', Production dates are Sept. 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 21, and 26, 27, 28.

Few meetings could be more awkward than the ones in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, a two-act musical being presented by Imagine Productions at Wall Street Nightclub in downtown Columbus.

UK Drama Series BROADCHURCH Premieres Tonight on BBC America

Two-time BAFTA-winning actress Olivia Colman (The Iron Lady, Twenty Twelve) and Emmy-winning actor David Tennant (Doctor Who, Spies of Warsaw) star in the new gripping drama Broadchurch, created and written by Chris Chibnall (Law & Order: UK, Torchwood). The new series centers on a quiet seaside town following the shocking murder of a young boy and the impact it has on the tight-knit community when everyone becomes a suspect. Broadchurch is the most tweeted UK drama ever. Broadchurch premieres tonight, August 7, 10:00pm ET/PT as part of Dramaville.

Complete JACKSON HEIGHTS TRILOGY Debuts in NYC, 2/8

Theatre 167 will present the Manhattan Premiere of THE JACKSON HEIGHTS TRILOGY, a rotating repertory of three plays about the Queens, New York neighborhood famous for being the world's most diverse community. Created by 18 playwrights and starring a company of 37 actors playing 93 multicultural roles, the plays were conceived and will be directed by Ari Laura Kreith. The trilogy will inaugurate the newly renovated 777 Theatre, located at 777 8th Avenue at 47th Street beginning February 8th. While each of the plays has been presented individually in Queens to critical acclaim, this is the first time any of these plays will be seen in Manhattan and the first time they are being presented together in repertory, where audiences can see them individually or all in one day.

Eight playwrights combined with director, Ari Laura Kreith, in creating a new work inspired by Jackson Heights (Queens) in the wee hours of the morning. Livery cab drivers, police officers, sex workers, Colombian drag queens, Bangladeshi insomniacs, expatriate ER doctors, Ecuadorian waitresses and a baby awake in its stroller are among the characters whose experiences are chronicled in this multilingual (English, Spanish, Bengali) production which features a multicultural ensemble cast of 24.
