The Ziegfeld Club, Inc., one of New York City's first performing arts charities to benefit women, has announced that Lucile Lortel Award-Nominee Shaina Taub (Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812) has been named the recipient of the third annual Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award (BBZA).
Zack Zadek of Brooklyn, NY, has been awarded a fellowship by the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA). The VCCA is located near Sweet Briar College in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in rural Virginia. Zack Zadek will be among approximately 25 Fellows focusing on their own creative projects at this working retreat for visual artists, writers and composers.

She believes in the power of the Lord, and when the play begins, she has called a family gathering to bring her sons and daughter together to discuss sharing the property she is about to will them. Currently at MTF, Tarell Alvin McCraney has created a powerful play Head of Passes with the brilliant Rashad heading an outstanding cast of eight, directed meticulously by Tina Landau, through October 22.
