These artists are among the subjects of recently named winners of the 50th annualASCAP Foundation Deems Taylor/Virgil Thomson Awards for outstanding print, broadcast and new media coverage of music.

Eve Hewson and Eva Green Join the Cast of BBC's THE LUMINARIES

BBC Two has announced that leading actresses Eve Hewson (Robin Hood, The Knick, Bridge of Spies) and Eva Green (Casino Royale, Penny Dreadful, Sin City, A dame to Kill For) will join the cast of six-part drama series, The Luminaries.

Epic Premieres Live Talk Show THE DRAG

Epic Theatre Company is expanding once again as it premieres its brand new live talk show entitled The Drag.  For five nights, Epic Artistic Director Kevin Broccoli will sit down with actors, writers, directors, and other members of the artistic community to discuss world events, pop culture, theater, and everything else with an irreverent and engaging attitude.  The show will be live from Epic's home base at Theater 82 in Cranston, and will be streamed on their Facebook page.

College of DuPage (COD) College Theater presents Caryl Churchill's "The Skriker," directed by COD Professor of Theater Amelia Barrett at the McAninch Arts Center's Playhouse Theatre, April 16 to 26. Preview is Thursday, April 16. This show contains strong language and subject matter that may not be suitable for younger or more sensitive theatergoers.

American Repertory Theater of WNY continues an outstanding 2013-14 season with the production of Michael Gazzo's compelling story of Hope, Dope and Love entitled A HATFUL OF RAIN. This story of a military veteran struggles with morphine addiction and the fallout effects on his loved ones currently runs now to March 29th, Thursday-Saturday performances at 7:30 pm.
