On the 30th and 31st August, Print Room at the Coronet will present the Italian Theatre Festival in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute in London, sponsored by Ersel, and curated by Monica Capuani.
Brandon Cole's IMPERFECT LOVE Extends at The Connelly Theater

Due to popular demand, The Left Wing, in association with John Turturro, extends the world premiere production of Brandon Cole's Imperfect Love to February 25. Directed by Michael Di Jiacomo, Imperfect Love is inspired by the tumultuous life of the great Italian actress Eleonora Duse (1858-1924) and her nine-year love affair with the poet and playwright Gabriele D'Annunzio (1863-1938). The production, which is set to open on February 4, runs at The Connelly Theater and features set and costume design by the Academy Award-winning Italian designer Gianni Quaranta (Merchant-Ivory's A Room with a View). Turturro's 1998 film, Illuminata, which was co-written by Cole and Turturro, was based on Cole's Imperfect Love.

The Left Wing, in association with John Turturro, presents the world premiere production of Brandon Cole's Imperfect Love, a serious comedy in two acts. Directed by Michael Di Jiacomo, Imperfect Love is inspired by the tumultuous life of the great Italian actress Eleonora Duse (1858 1924) and her nine-year love affair with the poet and playwright Gabriele D'Annunzio (1863 1938). The Los Angeles Premiere of My Father's A Cop co-written by Jerry Dean and director Kurt Brungardt opens January 6th at the Lounge Theatre (6201 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038). Performed by Jerry Dean, produced by Derik Howard and Kurt Brungardt the solo-show runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 7 PM through January 28th.

The producers of The Parisian Woman, the electrifying new play by 'House of Cards' creator Beau Willimon, announced today that Marton Csokas (Loving, The Lord of the Rings) and Tony Award nominee Phillipa Soo (Hamilton, Amelie) will join Uma Thurman, Josh Lucas and Blair Brown to complete the cast, playing the characters of 'Peter' and 'Rebecca' respectively. Mr. Csokas will be making his Broadway debut.
