The Flea to Host Special Performance of TRANSATLANTICA with Former Bats, 12/9

The Flea Theater announces a one night only performance of TRANSATLANTICA by Kenny Finkle, directed by Tim Cummings and featuring original Bat Company Members reprising their roles: Tim Cummings (The Normal Heart, The Fountain Theatre in LA), Greg Keller (NYTW's Belleville, Wit with Cynthia Nixon), Jennifer McKenna, Alfredo Narcisso (The Motherf***er with the Hat), Jack O'Neill (Baal), Beth Tapper and Irene Walsh.

Fountain Theatre's THE NORMAL HEART Hosts Post-Show Student Talkback Tonight

Tonight, Oct. 17, immediately following the 8 p.m. performance of The Normal Heart at The Fountain Theatre, guest speakers Timothy Kordic, Project Manager of the LAUSD HIV/AIDS Prevention Unit, and Nancy Ramos, Positively Speaking Facilitator, will host a special talkback with high school students and audience members about the reality of AIDS in 2013 and living with/preventing the disease. Director Simon Levy will moderate the discussion.

MainStreet Theatre Ends 7th Season with THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH, Now thru 4/14

MainStreet Theatre Company will end its 7th season with an adaptation of Norton Juster's beloved children's classic, The Phantom Tollbooth. MainStreet has gathered a multi-talented team of Los Angeles artists, led by director Jessica Kubzansky, to bring this riveting story deliciously to life. The Phantom Tollbooth opens today, March 30th and runs through April 14th.
