West Bay Community Theater will present an in-concert production of the classic Kander and Ebb musical CABARET on Saturday, August 12th at 8pm on the North Kingstown Town Beach.

The donation of the historic Michelson Cinema Research Library, the legendary repository of all things Hollywood, to the Internet Archive was announced today by the Internet Archive's Founder & Digital Librarian, Brewster Kahle, and by the Library's Founder, Lillian Michelson.

The Art Directors Guild (ADG) Film Society and the American Cinematheque are co-hosting the annual 2018 Screening Series “Production Design: Designers On Design” highlighting the work of renowned Production Designers and their creative collaborations. The monthly series will run from April through August, and the screenings will alternate between the American Cinematheque's Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre at the Egyptian (6712 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood) and the Max Palevsky Theatre at the Aero (1328 Montana Avenue, Santa Monica) with all screenings starting at 5:30 pm. Moderating the screenings are Production Designers THOMAS A. Ron Clements and John Musker, the Oscar -nominated Walt Disney Animation Studios filmmaking partners behind such animated features as Moana and The Princess and The Frog, will receive the William Cameron Menzies Award from the Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) at the 22nd Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards on Jan. 27 in the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland.
