Darius Danesh and Jill Paice will lead the cast in Trevor Nunn's production of Margaret Mitchell's classic novel, Gone with the Wind, playing the iconic roles of Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara. Joining them are Edward Baker-Duly who will play Ashley Wilkes, Madeleine Worrall who plays Melanie, NaTasha Yvette Williams as Mammy and Jina Burrows as Prissy. Gone with the Wind will have its first performance at the New London Theatre on Friday April 4, 2008, officially opening on Tuesday April 22, and is initially booking until September 27, 2008.
The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has announced ten finalists for the prestigious playwriting award which celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year. The awards are given annually to recognize women from around the world who have written works of outstanding quality for the English-speaking theatre.

Bill Kenwright and Thelma Holt will bring the acclaimed National Theatre of Great Britain production of PRIMO, starring Antony Sher as Italian chemist and Holocaust survivor Primo Levi, to Broadway this summer for 32 performances only beginning Friday, July 8 through Sunday, August 7. Opening night for PRIMO, which is based on Levi's memoir Survival in Auschwitz, as adapted for the stage by Antony Sher, and directed by Richard Wilson, is Monday, July 11 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45 Street).
