The annual Mark Marvin Rent Subsidy Award of £1500, covering 2 weeks @ £750 per week will be awarded each year in perpetuity with the hope that matching funds will be made available. The annual Peter Brook/Equity Ensemble Award of £2000 is to help establish deeper development of ensemble work within the studio theatres.

Robert Foxworth plays King Lear and Bruce Turk the Fool in Shakespeare's tragedy, directed by Festival Artistic Director Adrian Noble.
