New Rep Reveals Cast for THE NORMAL HEART

New Repertory Theatre (New Rep) has fully cast its production of The Normal Heart, for a three-week run June 21 through July 9, 2023, in the Black Box Theater of the Mosesian Center for the Performing Arts in Watertown, MA.

Composer Jessica Meyer Doubles As Soloist In Premiere Of Viola Concerto, GAEA, With The Orchestra Of The League Of Composers, May 25

Award-winning composer and violist Jessica Meyer will be the featured soloist in the world premiere of her own new work GAEA: Concerto for Amplified Viola and Chamber Orchestra. She'll perform alongside the Orchestra of the League of Composers - which commissioned the work - on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 8:00pm at Columbia University's Miller Theatre in New York. Louis Karchin, Music Director of the Orchestra of the League of Composers, will conduct.

John Mellencamp to Release New Album 'Orpheus Descending'

Westport Country Playhouse will present the comedy/mystery, “Bad Accents,” the first reading in the 2023 New Works at the Playhouse Series, on Monday, April 24, at 7 p.m.  The new play is written by Matthew Greene and directed by Liam Lonegan, Playhouse assistant artistic director. The audience is invited to meet the playwright and director in the lobby following the performance.
