Australian Cabaret Duo Bound For Edinburgh Fringe Festival

After a successful workshop Above The Arts Theatre in London's West End, producer Joe C Brown in association with The MC Showroom will present a Melbourne run of the comedy cabaret The Worst Little Warehouse In London.

Edinburgh International Festival Announces 2018 Programme

Today the Edinburgh International Festival unveils its 2018 programme. The International Festival runs Friday 3 to Monday 27 August. The event welcomes 2,750 artists from 31 nations to perform in Scotland's capital city and attracts visitors from all over the world, with audiences expected to travel from over 80 nations to be part of Edinburgh's global celebration of culture.

New Stage Brings Fannie Lou Hamer To The Stage!

She came into this world 100 years ago and, without a doubt, left it a better place. This new play depicts the life of civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer as it recounts her path from sharecropper in Ruleville, Mississippi to civil rights activist for an entire nation. Through moving songs and stirring conversation, Sharon Miles channels Mrs. Hamer as she takes the audience through her inspiring journey.

PlayFest Santa Barbara Festival Announces 2018 Events

PlayFest Santa Barbara, in partnership with the Santa Barbara Public Library, and with the support of a Community Arts Grant from the City of Santa Barbara and Santa Barbara County Office of Arts and Culture, presents the Sixth Annual Festival of New Plays. The staged reading of Steve Karp's Honoree Play, REUNION, will take place in the Santa Barbara Central Library on March 10 at 7p.m. REUNION was selected as the 2018 Honoree play following an international competition. E. Bonnie Lewis and Ken Gilbert of DramaDogs will perform the roles of He and She. Maggie Mixsell of Speaking of Stories, will narrate. Anna Jensen, former Ensemble Theatre dramaturge and current co-host of Theatrixsb podcast, will moderate a post reading talkback between the audience and the playwright. The reading is free.

THE VOICE OF A GENERATION Exhibition to Launch 2018 Series at the Quin

The 2018 exhibition series at the Quin, located at 57th Street and Sixth Avenue, launches on January 11 with a London invasion from MTArt. Co-Curated by Quin Arts curator DK Johnston and MTArt's Marine Tanguy, the new exhibition is titled, 'The Voice of a Generation,' and features works by three remarkable UK-based artists: Alexandra Lethbridge, Jasmine Pradissitto and Tim A. Shaw.

Brian Rafferty Productions has announced that actress, model and singer LINDSAY LOHAN will be the special guest star at SUPER TRADE, the mega-sized special event version of TRADE, New York City's renowned monthly LGBTQ dance party this Sunday, January 14th at Brooklyn's hottest new nightclub, Schimanski, 54 N.11th Street. Doors Open at 10:00 PM.

Cast Announced for SEX WITH STRANGERS at Citadel

Citadel Theatre will continue its 2017-18 season with Laura Eason's SEX WITH STRANGERS, in its first area production since its 2009 and 2011 stagings at Steppenwolf Theatre. The play received its World Premiere as part of Steppenwolf's First Look Repertory of New Work in 2009 and was restaged as one of the company's regular season offerings in 2011.

Materials For The Arts Featured In Global Report Highlighting Culture And Climate Change

Materials for the Arts (MFTA) New York City's premier environmental and cultural program which reduces landfill waste by diverting usable goods back into the community - is featured in a newly released publication by the World Cities Culture Forum's Policy and Practice Series called Culture and Climate Change .
