Troupe today announces the World Premiere of Joy Wilkinson's The Sweet Science of Bruising. Directed by Kirsty Patrick Ward, the production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 5 October, with previews from 3 October, and runs until 27 October.

The Brits Off Broadway season continues at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) with the US premiere of ALL I WANT IS ONE NIGHT, written by Jessica Walker, with music direction by Joseph Atkins.

pluck. productions in association with Park Theatre are proud to present the world premiere of Alkaline by Stephanie Martin, which is set to be performed at Park Theatre from 10th July - 4th August 2018. Alkaline is a play about faith, friendship and fear, but at its heart a story about female friendship, shining a light on painful endings and new beginnings. The play also explores ideas surrounding British identity and who chooses to define it, questioning whether we dare to be different in today's society. Alkaline follows pluck. productions' most recent production, Birthday Suit, which played to critical acclaim and was nominated for three Off West-End Awards.

An exciting cast and creative team has been announced for the hotly-anticipated, intimate revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's romantic classic Aspects of Love, which opens at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester in July.

Bill Kenwright presents the inaugural Classic Screen to Stage Theatre Company production of RAIN MAN. Mathew Horne (Gavin & Stacey, The Catherine Tate Show) stars as Raymond Babbit opposite Ed Speleers (Downton Abbey, Wolf Hall) as Charlie Babbit. RAIN MAN opens at Windsor Theatre Royal on 21 August, before embarking on a UK tour to Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Eastbourne, Southend, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Brighton, Guildford, Leeds, Richmond, Derby and Northampton. Further dates and casting to be announced in due course.

The award-winning 1950's rock'n'roll musical TEDDY will have its final performance at The Vaults, Waterloo in just two weeks on Saturday 2 June 2018.

Aegis Productions in association with Park Theatre is proud to present Schism. This stunning play is from groundbreaking playwright Athena Stevens, whose mainstream cannon of work speaks to the experience of disability in the human condition. Questioning the power dynamics between genders and abilities; at its heart, Schism is a play about two people finding each other, asking at what point dreams and relationships become unrealistic or out of date. The official press night will be on Thursday 17th May at 7pm.

Classic Stills, a Los Angeles- and London-based publisher of rare and iconic photographs, has partnered with HBO to release a new limited-edition collection of Game of Thrones fine art photo prints. Following the popular launch of the first ever Game of Thrones fine art prints in December 2017, this second collection exclusively features the “Hall of Faces” images, which were used in promotion of the show's sixth season.

Steven Atkinson, Co-Founder and Artistic Director of HighTide, has today announced that the company will present five world premiere productions at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, before transferring them to its Aldeburgh and Walthamstow Festivals, as part of a brand-new mentoring scheme for new playwrights and producers. The launch of the programme marks the company's commitment to creating a bridge that supports new theatre makers starting out on the fringe and is indicative of festival's proven ability in providing a platform for launching professional careers with the UK's leading theatres.

The Vaults today announces its new experience Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney Fantasia, a brand new immersive experience which will open this summer, in the year Mickey Mouse celebrates his 90th anniversary. Inspired by the classic 1940 Disney film, a series of unique installations will bring some of the world's most iconic classical music to life in a multi-sensory experience. The production will open 3 July, with opening night for press on 11 July.

Romance of the Rose Productions announces the first casting for the new West End musical Knights of the Rose. Directed by Racky Plews and created by Jennifer Marsden, Knights of the Rose opens on 29th June for 9 weeks only at The Arts Theatre. Leading the noble Knights is Adam Pearce (King Aethelstan) who is joined by Chris Cowley (Palamon), Oliver Saville (Hugo), Rebecca Bainbridge (Queen Matilda / Bess), Rebekah Lowings (Isabel), Matt Thorpe (Horatio), Ruben Van keer (John), Katie Birtill (Hannah) and Bleu Woodward (Emily). Ian Gareth-Jones, Kelly Hampson and Tom Bales make up the ensemble.

The Watermill Theatre's new season, announced today by Artistic Director, Paul Hart, includes the funny and poignant musical SWEET CHARITY, and the premieres of three new plays, including TRIAL BY LAUGHTER, by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman. Booking opens on Monday 23 April with Friends of The Watermill priority booking from Monday 16 April.

Miss Nightingale manages to portray both the delicious naughtiness of 1940s wartime entertainment and the difficult and heart-breaking reality the performers lived off the stage equally well. Matthew Bugg's original musical has had a long journey to its current run at the Hippodrome Casino. This lovely piece produced by the husband-and-husband duo of the company Mr Buggs Presents offers something you don't find in the West End often enough: a beautiful gay love story set to charming music.

Rova Saxophone Quartet: a group that can move you the way an Eastern European choir of voices can move you, but also a group with force, a force that can feel as if it is tearing the walls of the listening space down, celebrates its 40th Anniversary and the release of their new CD, 'In Transverse Time.' Rova will play music from their new CD (on the adventurous Canadian label Victo) and reprise vintage Rova material from the vaults.

Today, MUTEK announces the complete lineup for the festival's first foray into the United States, taking place in San Francisco this May, providing a full picture of how the festival will unfold. Beyond the 33 artists announced in March, MUTEK.SF is thrilled to present the North American solo live premiere of seminal techno innovator Moritz Von Oswald, known for his pioneering work (in collaboration with Mark Ernestus) as Basic Channel, Maurizio, Rhythm & Sound, and more. Live sets from Detroit techno-electro innovators Aux 88 and playful Chilean techno artist Matias Aguayo have also been announced. Building even further upon an already impressive local slate, Bay Area artists 8ULENTINA, Christopher Willits, DIBIA$E, Foozool, King Most, and Only Now have also been added to the festival lineup. The festival will also present a variety of audiovisual and experiential artworks: iAltar from Brian Reinbolt; The Chamber of Cerebral Geometry from Craig Dorety; Immersive Constructions from Last Faith Studio and Subpac; Strobe Piece from Greg Zifcak; Lux Aeterna from Joey Verbeke & Ya_mur Uyan?k; Teratogenesis from Jonathan Beilin and Magnus Pind; and Binary Garden 2 and Aquarium from Marpi. These experiences reflect the spirit of exploration and technological innovation that San Francisco embodies.
