Guest Blog: Stephanie Jacob On AGAIN At Trafalgar Studios

I'm an actor who's been writing plays for about 15 years. It's been a very slow burn for me, but suddenly I have two plays on in London at the same time: Again at the Trafalgar Studios and The Strongbox at VAULT Festival 2018.

Photo Flash: First Look at THE GRIFT, a New Immersive Experience at the Historic Bethnal Green Town Hall Hotel

Dropping its audience of just 50 a show into the middle of an adventure in which they are trained in the art of the con, participants will meet characters, solve clues and get a masterclass in the ways of the grifter, all in the interest pulling off one final swindle to take down a seamy criminal mastermind. They will have their intelligence tested and get trained in scams like The Pig In The Poke, The Round-The Corner, and The Money Swap…but in the end will they be sharp enough to take down an evil genius at his own game? An experience unlike anything ever performed on a stage, The Grift will sweep its audience into a thrilling adventure, turning everyday theatergoers into master con men. And when the show ends? They'll be released back into the world with a whole new skill set-one that can pay off for years to come.

BWW Review: NEVERLAND, VAULT Festival

Peter Pan is a story that the majority of us will know and love. It's a tale of a boy who never grew up, and instead lived the rest of his days in Neverland leading the fearless Lost Boys. Following their 2017 hit with The Great Gatsby, The Guild of Misrule return to the VAULTs with Neverland.

BWW Review: TOMORROW CREEPS, The Vaults

Golem! takes part in Vault Festival with Tomorrow Creeps, a new play that features sixteen works of Shakespeare. A mashup of quotes and circumstances that, in the eerie and humid atmosphere of The Vaults, isn't always coherent, but promising nonetheless.

Pentire St Productions Presents RUBBER, an Immersive Show in a Car

Rubber is performed in a real, moving car. So come and sit in the back seats of Jess and Tom's car, who're in a loving relationship. Right? 'Immersive theatre at its finest' (A Younger Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe 2016), this fly-on-the-wall experience puts the audience into the capable hands of Tom, who is driving Jess around for her first call of the day. Living in a society where they have turned to sex work just to pay the bills, how could things get worse for them? But when Tom's hidden truths come to light, the road gets bumpy. 'Rubber' explores the tough realities of emotional and physical dependencies that the millennial generation can be driven to by a world that they feel increasingly doesn't want them.
