Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that Tony® Award winner Douglas Hodge will star in a new Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, with a translation by Ranjit Bolt and directed by Jamie Lloyd.
Cyrano de Bergerac will begin previews on September 14, 2012 and open officially on October 11, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). This will be a limited engagement through November 25, 2012. The full cast & design team will be announced soon.

Orchestra Nova brings the Poway Center for the Performing Arts Foundation's 2011/2012 Professional Performance Season to a close with A Taste of Spain on Friday, March 23. The evening will begin in the lobby where concert-goers will be immersed in an emotional, intellectual and theatrical 'Nova Experience' bringing the essence of Spain -- dance, cuisine, culture, music and more to the Center. Music from Bizet, Tchaikovsky, de Falla, and Albeniz, among others, will be performed by Orchestra Nova's 35 talented musicians. An array of special guest artists including: Victoria Mature, soprano; Gregorio Gonzalez, baritone; Olé Flamenco (Marysol Fuentes, flamenco singer; Erika Lopez, flamenco dance and Juan Moro, flamenco guitar) and Fred Benedetti, classical guitar will further bring Spain to life.

Chichester Festival Theatre celebrates its 50th birthday with an anniversary season that echoes and acknowledges the past while also looking to the future. Uncle Vanya was part of Chichester's very first season in 1962 and became a key part of its history and is revisited during Festival 2012. The Way of the World in 1984 has also become an emblematic production; the play will feature again this year.
Following a critically acclaimed and sold out run as part of Chichester's Festival 2011, the double bill of Terence Rattigan's one-act masterpiece and David Hare's specially commissioned companion piece will transfer to Harold Pinter Theatre from April 19 with a press night on April 24.
