For the past five decades, National Lampoon has pushed boundaries in the comedy universe. In honor of its 50th anniversary, National Lampoon, in keeping with its half-century-old legacy, today announces the creation of a reboot to its legendary off-Broadway musical sketch hit Lemmings, which helped launched the careers of John Belushi, Christopher Guest, Harold Ramis, Anne Beatts, and more. Lemmings: 21st Century is written by Larson Grant Winner, Andrew Farmer, with a score written by downtown music-comedy guru Henry Koperski, and directed by red-hot theater artist Annie Tippe.

Celebrated New York stage actor and stand-up comedian Mario Cantone returns to Café Carlyle, April 7-11. He gained critical acclaim with his Tony-nominated one-man show Laugh Whore, from its appearance at the Cort Theatre on Broadway to the Showtime special. The previous theatre season saw Cantone starring in the Tony-winning Assassins by Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman. Both hit shows were directed by four-time Tony-winner Joe Mantello. An accomplished stage actor, Cantone has appeared on Broadway in the role of a?oeBuzza?? in Terrence McNally's award-winning dramatic comedy, Love! Valor! Compassion! and a?oeStephanoa?? in Shakespeare's The Tempest at the Public Theater. Mario Cantone starred in the 2007 release of Sony's animated film, Surf's Up, and appeared in the hilarious film The Aristocrats. On television, Cantone can currently be seen as a?oeAnthony,a?? Charlotte's wedding-planner-with-attitude, now that HBO's Sex and the City is in syndication on TBS, E! and many other stations, as well as the Sex and the City movie franchise.

The Muny announced today the choreographers and music directors for its Muny Kids and Teens 2020 season. The Muny's flagship education programs, The Muny Kids and Teens are two of nine offerings under The Crawford Taylor Education Initiative. Florida Studio Theatre (FST) has announced the return of its hit Cabaret celebrating male harmony groups, Unchained Melodies. One of FST's most successful and beloved Cabarets, Unchained Melodies was seen by over 20,000 people last season. Due to popular demand, the show was brought back last year for its first return engagement in March 2019. This year, due to continued audience demand, the popular Cabaret will return to Sarasota in its second limited return engagement in March 2020.

Jeffrey Seller and FSCJ Artist Series announced today that single tickets for HAMILTON will go on sale to the public on Friday, January 24 at 8 a.m. (ET) in person at the Times-Union Center (300 Water Street) and 10 a.m. (ET) at fscjartistseries.org. Tickets for Hamilton will not be available for purchase by phone. Tickets will be available for performances March 17 - 29, 2020.
