Writer, Performer and Cabaret Star Justin Sayre to Return to Joe's Pub with I'M GORGEOUS INSIDE

Justin Sayre, creator and host of the acclaimed comedy variety show and cult hit, The Meeting* of the International Order of Sodomites, will soon debut his new witty and sexy cabaret show, I'm Gorgeous Inside. The show, which is a sensual exploration of love and bad girl archetypes, begins its run September 22, 23, and 24 at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater in New York City.

Players Club of Swarthmore Presents FRECKLEFACE STRAWBERRY

The Players Club of Swarthmore's Children's Theater Series ends their summer series with  musical comedy,  Freckleface Strawberry, directed by Alexandra Greene.  Performances are August 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, and 24  at 7 p.m.  on the Raymond W. Smith Stage at Players Club of Swarthmore, 614 Fairview Rd. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children and free for children under age 3. Buy tickets at www.pcstheater.org or at the door. Running time is 50 minutes.

Carmen Cusack, Kyle Riabko and More Set for Cabaret 313's 2017-18 Season

Cabaret 313's 2017-18 season marks its fifth anniversary as Detroit's premier cabaret presenter, offering audiences the opportunity to experience some of Broadway's biggest names and brightest young talent. The season includes five performances across the city featuring Tony Award nominees and Grammy Award winners.

Romy Nordlinger's PLACES Makes World Premiere at 59E59 Tonight Before Edinburgh Fringe

Yonder Window Theatre Company and Parity Productions have announced that writer/performer Romy Nordlinger's Places is among the selected performances for this year's East to Edinburgh at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director). Places will play 6 performances in July before traveling to Edinburgh, Scotland for the 2017 Fringe Festival where it will have 25 performances over the month of August (4th - 27th).  

The Near-Sighted Knight and Far-Sighted Dragon Come to PCS

The Players Club of Swarthmore's Children's Theater Series continues the summer fun with the Children's Series musical comedy The Near-Sighted Knight and the Far-Sighted Dragon, directed by Ryan Goulden.  Performances are July 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 at 7 p.m.  on the Raymond W. SPARKLE & CIRCULATE with JUSTIN SAYRE - the official monthly podcast of the International Order of Sodomites - has posted its new episode, which features an interview with vocalist, actress and writer AMBER MARTIN. She joins host Justin Sayre to discuss her new album "A.M. Gold" - which features collaborations with transgender pioneer Kate Bornstein and Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters - in addition to her love of vintage K-Tel records, and Mattachine, the acclaimed New York queer party she hosts with John Cameron Mitchell.

SPACE on Ryder Farm, the non-profit artist residency program located on Ryder Farm, an idyllic 200 year-old working organic farm in Brewster, New York announced its 2017 season for The Working Farm, Family Residency, Creative Solutions Symposium and Artistic Residency programs at The Players Club. The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will conclude its acclaimed eight year run this Sunday, May 14 with two performances at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater.

Young People's Theatre Workshop presents BYE BYE BIRDIE 5/26- 6/4

Young People's Theatre Workshop (YPTW) presents the hip-swiveling, rock 'n roll musical comedy Bye Bye Birdie, on stage at the Players Club of Swarthmore May 26 to June 4. The Bye Bye Birdie cast includes more than 60 student thespians from the Philadelphia area, ages 8-18. Show dates are May 26, 27, 30, June 1 and 3 at 7:30 p.m., May 29 at 6 p.m. and May 28 and June 4 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 and all seats are reserved. Call 610-558-0988 to reserve tickets.
