After working together on the critically acclaimed run of the original play 'Keep Your Baggage With You (at all times)' at Theater for the New City in 2010 (written by Jonathan Blitstein, directed by Daniel Talbott), Daniel Abeles, Jonathan Blitstein, Nate Miller and Laura Ramadei teamed up to launch a new theater company called LESSER AMERICA. Tony Award winner Kevin Spacey (A Moon for the Misbegotten, The Iceman Cometh), celebrated actor and Artistic Director of The Old Vic, will star in the title role of Richard III for the final season of The Bridge Project. Following two critically acclaimed years, The Bridge Project will again be directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes with whom Spacey worked on the film American Beauty, for which they both won BAFTA and Academy Awards. The Bridge Project is a unique three-year series of co-productions by BAM, The Old Vic, and Neal Street, devoted to producing large-scale, classical theater for international audiences.
