New Georges' world premiere production of Wendy Weiner's 'Hillary: A Modern Greek Tragedy With a (Somewhat) Happy Ending,' directed by Julie Kramer will end its run, as scheduled, this Saturday, December 20. Mia Barron and Darren Pettie head up the eight-member cast as Hillary and Bill Clinton. Also featured are: Heidi Armbruster, Victoire Charles, Jorge Cordova, Charlie Hudson, III, Jenny Mercein, and Josie Whittlesey. 'Hillary' will perform its final four performances (Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 p.m.) at The Living Theater, 21 Clinton Street (between E. Houston and Stanton Streets). South Coast Repertory Artistic Directors David Emmes and Martin Benson have been named the recipients of the 2007-08 Margo Jones Medal. The prestigious award honors those who have demonstrated a significant impact, understanding and affirmation of the craft of playwriting, with a lifetime commitment to the encouragement of the living theater everywhere. The venerable duo has guided South Coast Repertory from a small touring company into one of the country's leading professional theaters, now approaching its 45th season and known world-wide for its development of new work for the stage.
