Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) presents up-and-coming choreographers and DNA Artists in Residence Mana Kawamura and Makiko Tamura in the Winter 2011 Season closer, SPLICE: Japan February 24-26.

KEIGWIN + COMPANY will present EXIT, a world premiere choreographed by Artistic Director Larry Keigwin, at The Joyce Theater, March 8 - 13. The evening-length work, inspired by the worlds of fashion and drama, will feature original music by electro-acoustic cellist Chris Lancaster and pianist Jerome Begin. Mr. Begin will perform live. The Joyce Theater is located at 175 Eighth Avenue at 19th Street.

Returning next month for a week-long season, the highly acclaimed Aspen Santa Fe Ballet will present a program of three works, including two NYC premieres, at The Joyce Theater (175 Eighth Avenue at 19th street) from February 22 - 27.

The internationally acclaimed Elisa Monte Dance will present another exhilarating season of dance when they celebrate their 30th Anniversary Season at The Joyce Theater (175 Eighth Avenue - at the corner of 19th Street), on Tuesday, March 1st (7PM) with a special opening night program and two additional programs (A & B) of performances slated through March 6th. the season includes the New York premieres of 'For Joy,' 'Vanishing Languages' and '...the heart...' as well as revival performances of 'Light Lies,' 'Shattered,' 'Tears Rolling,' 'White Dragon,' & 'Treading'

Inventive choreography, humor and eclectic music are just a few things audiences can expect when Dance Celebration presents the Philadelphia debut of two of New York's boldest troupes lead by today's up and coming women choreographers, Monica Bill Barnes & Company and Kate Weare Company. The companies will combine forces for a shared evening of contemporary dance works that are both original and theatrically striking - Bill Barnes' witty parody Another Parade and Weare's Bright Land. Performances take place February 10-12, 2011 and are part of the 2010/11 Dance Celebration season presented by Dance Affiliates and the Annenberg Center. Joyce SoHo is pleased to announce its 2011 spring season featuring a line-up of 11 innovative and emerging companies from across the globe.

'Dance: Under the Influence,' a provocative program of dance works inspired by other art practices will debut in the intimate MAD Theater on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 and continue one Wednesday performance a month through May 18, 2011. The program is guest-curated by renowned arts writer, editor, and George Balanchine-biographer, Valerie Gladstone.

Now in the final year of its Legacy Tour, the Merce Cunningham Dance Company (MCDC) returns to New York City for a weeklong engagement at The Joyce Theater from March 22 through 27, 2011, with a newly added Saturday matinee on March 26.

The internationally acclaimed Elisa Monte Dance will host over twenty special dance events starting February 3rd as a part of their upcoming 30th season this March (3/1-6) at the Joyce Theater. From master classes to website launches and video interviews with the artistic team and dancers - all will highlight this landmark period for the company. Most events are open to the public, low-cost and some are free.
