Sarah Boone lights up the Triad stage with her new show, Sarah Boone and Her Hollywood Blondes paying homage to the fair-haired leading ladies of classic film musicals.

Comedy and music come together on March 3rd at the Duplex Piano Bar and Lounge to raise money for the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Victims and March for Our Lives Funds. The evening is hosted by Jessica Saul and Sammi Sadicario (Lightning Thief, Nat'l Tour) and features renowned comedians and singers: all either alumni of MSD or friends of past and present students.

Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Charlie Franklin (The Book of Mormon, The Bridges of Madison County), and Emily Rodgers (If/Then) as guests of honor at the March 15th edition of Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame Mathieu's Soiree. The Broadway duo will premiere new songs by award winning composer Ryan Scott Oliver (Jasper in Deadland, 35MM) and will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of artists from a variety of disciplines.

The smash-hit comedy Gay Camp is back after a 4-year hiatus, playing a limited run at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre, on Friday, March 23, March 30, and April 6 at 9:30pm.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) is pleased to announce the 2018 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. The MAC Board of Directors selected the nominees for Show of the Year. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories. The names of the songwriters in the Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories are being withheld during the voting period, but will be announced publicly as soon as the voting period concludes.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 presents Danny Marin and Kyle Coughlin in "Aftertaste of Love" on April 20 @ 7p. Aftertaste of Love is a musical tribute to the popular VH1 reality show Flavor of Love starring Flavor Flav of Public Enemy. Featuring songs by some of your favorite pop divas, Aftertaste of Love promises to get you in all of your feels. Who knows? Maybe a few surprise guests may show up for the party. Join us for the juke box musical you never knew you needed! "Aftertaste of Love" is directed by Lindsey Sherman, music directed by Rodney Bush.

FIORE BARBINI is bringing his hit solo cabaret show I'M STILL HERE: My Story. The Songs of Leading Ladies. to the Don't Tell MamaCabaret in New York City Friday, March 9th, 2018! The show is co-produced by cabaret mainstay Joseph Macchia Events and Productions with musical direction by Yasuhiko Fukuoka. He made his NYC cabaret debut with this show to rave reviews last year at 53 Above Broadway. He's performed selections from I'm Still Here at NYC venues including The Duplex and The West End.

Ruth Carlin reprises her new show 'Kaleidoscope Eyes' at Don't Tell Mama with the skilled hand of a true artist. Through her own poetry, original material and songs composed by Joni Mitchell, Craig Carnelia, Sting, Prince, Lionel Bart, Rupert Holmes and more, Carlin takes us on an entertaining and heartfelt journey filled with integrity, musicality, spirit, truth, courage, and hope.

Honeck-Moss Productions presents "In The Works." This exciting series is in it's Second Season and was conceived as an opportunity for composers to try out new work in front of an audience and see how it plays in a supportive environment. It is also an opportunity to create community among the composers and their performers.

Opening The Dare Tactics 4th Season, Forget Me Not, music by Joey Contreras, book and lyrics by Kate Thomas, tells the story of a remote coastal town where a whale washes ashore and brings a burst of attention back to the struggling community.

Back Table Ink has announced its production of "The Great Cat Massacre", premiering in the 12th Annual FRIGID Festival, produced by Horse Trade Theater Group. "The Great Cat Massacre" is a new musical written by Greg Moss & Casey O'Neil. Currently in rehearsals, this show will run on select dates from February 17th until March 4th at the Kraine Theater.

Get Groovy with a Girl Power Musical!! Maplewood Playhouse follows up their all male coming of age musical Glory Days, with the all-female production, SHOUT! The Mod Musical, a celebration of all things swingin' '60s. A cultural mish-mash from go-go boots to the pill, a hilarious 'Dear Abby' column and a rainbow of fun. Continuing the first season of live theater in the Lake Park Art's District, SHOUT! The Mod Musical opens February 16th at the Kelsey Theater.

Newly announced 2018 Bistro Award winner for Solo Play, Brooklyn actor-writer, Dan Ruth, brings his tour-de-force black comedy, A Life Behind Bars, back to the Laurie Beechman Theatre for one performance on Thursday, February 22nd at 7PM.
