Philadelphia based actor, musician and songwriter Jeremiah Downes will bring his show Highways and Daydreams: The Songs of Jeremiah Downes to Philadelphia tonight, December 23rd at Tavern On Camac.

BEN RIMALOWER: 'PATTI ISSUES' - the hit solo play hailed as 'ecstatically vivid' by The New York Times and praised for its 'wit, feeling and conviction' by Time Out New York - will be presented in Baltimore, Maryland and aboard the RSVP Vacations' 'Divina Cruise' this winter, plus an upcoming 'mini-tour' of South Florida this spring, on the heels of its triumphant 14-month run in New York and following recent performances in Boston, Berlin, Glasgow, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Berkeley, Provincetown and the Fire Island Pines, as well as its inclusion as an official selection in the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's Summer Conference. There's a new Open Mic Night in town, and it's quite the place to be! Kenneth Gartman hosts the monthly Open Mic Night on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Unity Center in Norwalk, CT. The next concert is set for tonight, December 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. $10 cover. The Unity Center is located at 3 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Norwalk, Conn.

Relive your childhood in this mostly nostalgic, sometimes silly, and occasionally profound collaboration between vocalist Julie Benko (Les Miserables, Spring Awakening) and jazz pianist Jason Yeager (Ruminations, Jason Yeager Trio) as they debut their new act at The Duplex on Sunday, January 5th at 4:30PM. 'Blame It On Our Youth' is an evening featuring new interpretations of old favorites from Disney tunes to 90s rock to jazz and more, reminding everyone of the joy of staying young at heart.

Ugly Sweater Productions presents the Second Annual UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER CABARET on Monday, December 16th at 9:30 pm at The Duplex. A benefit for the 25th Annual New York Cares Coat Drive, the cabaret will be hosted by Vanessa Hidary, aka 'The Hebrew Mamita', and will feature Bobby Cronin, Catherine Porter, Frank Pizzaro, Wayne Miller and Cheo Bourne of pop vocal group The Platters, Erik Sisco, Fiona Pui Shan Hui, Brett Dameron, Maria Maloney and Alison Rose Munn. Kimberly Faith Hickman directs, with musical direction by William Demaniow.
