“PATTI ISSUES” – the hit solo play written by BEN RIMALOWER – will continue its hit New York run with Sunday night performances from September 8 to October 27, starring Broadway's ROBIN DE JESÚS, star of the film Camp and two-time Tony Award nominee for In the Heights and La Cage Aux Folles (also soon to be starring opposite Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Goldblum in Lincoln Center Theater's Domesticated, opening November 4.) YANK!, the acclaimed 2010 Off-Broadway show, centering on two WWII soldiers who happen to fall in love in the midst of deployment, is finally set to receive a cast album. Creators David and Joseph Zellnik recently turned to Kickstarter to help raise $35,000 for the recording- a goal that was just reached.

Danielle Grabianowski, the award-winning singing actress whose performances have been likened to 'Barbra Streisand at the Bon Soir and Bette Midler at the Continental Baths' (Village Voice) makes a return to the club scene in an eclectic, impromptu set of standards, stories and pop tunes. She will perform a second show at The Duplex tonight, August 28 at 7:00 PM. Grabianowski was last seen as the jazz singer Josephine Grant in the award-winning Off-Broadway sensation, Sleep No More. The evening will also feature longtime collaborator and fellow Buffalo, NY nativeNate Buccieri on piano.

James Roberts (Hair National Tour) is set to make his solo cabaret debut in James Roberts Can't Afford 54 Below tonight, August 25th at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre at 9:30pm.

Two-time Tony nominee (and star of the movie CAMP) Robin De Jesus will be playing Ben Rimalower in PATTI ISSUES for seven show only, Sundays at 9:30 at the Duplex September 8 - October 27, 2013. In the meantime, Rimalower will still be playing himself out of town the following dates.

Casting has been announced for The D* Word - A Musical (*Ditched, Dumped, Divorced and Dating), the new party show from the Creator/Writer of Menopause The Musical, Jeanie Linders. This hilarious musical premieres at Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Terry Theater from October 4th - November 24th.

Newcomer Dan Callahan makes his New York City debut tonight, Monday, August 19th at The Duplex where he'll lend his powerhouse vocals to songs made famous by the Tony and Grammy Award winning pop star - and songwriter- Cyndi Lauper in After Time: The Cyndi Lauper Songbook.

LezCab is a cabaret series featuring performances of musical theatre songs performed by, and written by and/or about queer women. This month's LezCab will include queer spins on Golden Age classics. It will be held Sunday, August 25th at 7pm at The Duplex located at 61 Christopher Street in the West Village.

Versatile stage and screen performer Robin De Jesus will take over for original author and star of the hit Off-Broadway one-man diva tribute PATTI ISSUES, Ben Rimalower, for a series of performances beginning September 8.

Broadway's Terri White will perform "From Blues To Broadway" at the Arthur Newman Theater in the Joslyn Center on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 2 PM. Considered 'a living legend' in the New York music world, known for her show-stopping, scene-stealing performances, Terri toured as a toddler with her families song and dance act - her specialty was "Me And My Shadow" with her father. As a young lady she headlined at NYC cabaret rooms like 88's, Rose's Turn, and The Duplex. In 1978, her run as understudy to Nell Carter in Ain't Misbehavin' resulted in her going on for an unheard of 112 performances. She later replaced Nell in the 1988 revival but not before her big break playing, strangely enough, octogenarian Joice Heth in the original 1980 production of Barnum. Other shows include: Showboat, Nunsense I & II, Damn Yankees, Bubbling Brown Sugar, Little Shop Of Horrors, and Stepping Out at Radio City with close friend Liza Minnelli and many more, garnering numerous awards and nominations along the way.

LML Music is excited to announce the August 2013 release of SHADES OF BLUE, a new recording from singer Harold Sanditen. Sanditen recorded SHADES OF BLUE live at The Pheasantry, London UK in November 2012, supported by a lively crowd of players including Michael Roulston, Dave Olney, Paul Merser, Bob Sydor and Steve Bentley-Klein. Generations mix and The Great American Songbook's writers are in the cabaret mix--starting with Irving Berlin (photo)--when star of stage/TV/film (and, belatedly, cabaret) Anita Gillette and other established performers honor the composer-lyricist giant in the new series Cabaret Scenes with Cabaret Teens, at Manhattan's Metropolitan Room, as part of the 'weekend matinee shift.'

An all-star cast will take the stage at The 5th Avenue Theatre this fall in the celebrated organization's 15th new musical, Secondhand Lions. Based on the beloved film starring Michael Caine and Robert Duvall, Secondhand Lions springs to musical life in Seattle with a superbly talented cast of Broadway stars and Seattle musical theater actors. Lead by Tony Award nominees Gregg Edelman and Mark Jacoby, this adventure story also features Jason Danieley, Jenny Powers, Kevin Earley,Jared Michael Brown, Kendra Kassebaum, Sophia Anne Caruso, and Justin Huertas. Johnny Rabe, star of Broadway's A Christmas Story, takes center stage as Walter.

Steve Ross, the veteran globe-trotting entertainer dubbed the "Crown Prince of Cabaret," and well-versed in the verses and choruses of Berlin, will guest on August 4, along with vocalist Frank Dain, who is also the editor of Cabaret Scenes Magazine, the only print magazine specializing in cabaret. The program is titled for its non-profit Foundation as a beneficiary for the concerts, along with charities serving needy teens. Nightclub and record star Karen Wyman will also sing and add her perspective, while also guesting is multi-award winning vocalist Karen Oberlin.
