Philadelphia based actor, musician and songwriter Jeremiah Downes will bring his show Highways and Daydreams: The Songs of Jeremiah Downes to Philadelphia tonight, December 23rd at Tavern On Camac.

Downes calls Philadelphia home; he completed his undergraduate work at the University of the Arts and currently serves as the music director and headliner at the Walnut Street Supper Club in Center Philadelphia where he's performed nightly since its inception and played an integral role in its development.

Following a hit run at New York City's The Duplex Cabaret and Piano Bar (where Downes made his solo New York City debut over a decade ago), Jeremiah returns to Philadelphia where his evening of original music had its world premiere in 2011 at the Martin and Biello Studio in Old City.

Jeremiah, alongside Amanda Brizzi, Dan Callahan, Evan Frace, Lisa Harrelson, Ashli Rice and Janet Rowley (Elf at the Walnut Street Theater) will perform an evening of original songs written over the last decade as well as material from his other works in progress, Radio Flyer and Seven. Two new, never heard before, songs will be a part of this Philly return.

The recent New York City performance featured friend and Broadway actress Sarah Bolt (Wicked, Sister Act).

Highways and Daydreams: The Songs of Jeremiah Downes will be presented at Tavern on Camac on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 6:30PM. There is no cover and no drink minimum. No one under 21 will be admitted. For more, visit www.jeremiahdownes.com.
