THE BOOK OF MORMON Brings Mission to Denver, Now thru 11/24

The National Tour of The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, announces a lottery ticket policy. Back by popular demand, The Book of Mormon which played a record-breaking three-week run in the fall of 2012 returns for a limited engagement today, October 22-November 24 at The Buell Theatre.

Garner Galleria Theatre Extends DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN Through 11/3

Due to popular demand, Broadway's wildly popular relationship comedy, DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN is extended through November 3 at The Garner Galleria Theatre. Kevin Burke, the Vegas headliner for the past seven years, stars in the show from October 16-27. Colorado native, Cody Lyman returns October 27-November 3. Denver Center for the Performing Arts to Hold New Youth Playwriting Workshop, Competition

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) has announced the launching of a new playwriting initiative for Colorado high schools students in the fall of 2013. The program will begin in late September and will accept one-act play submissions October 1 - December 1. It is designed to advance literacy, creativity, writing and communication through playwriting while nurturing Colorado's promising young playwrights and developing theatre artists and audiences.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts Names John Moore New Associate Director of Content Strategy

John Moore, former theatre critic of The Denver Post and founder of CultureWest.org, has been named to The Denver Center for the Performing Arts' newly-created position of Associate Director of Content Strategy. In this role, Moore will create and distribute relevant and valuable content to engage and retain customers and develop a positive, insightful experience for theatre patrons.

Garner Galleria Theatre to Stage Developmental Production of THE KID with Joey McIntyre, 8/29-9/15

Denver Center Attractions with producers, William Sherak and Jason Shuman, announce the developmental production of a new musical, THE KID, starring Joey McIntyre. Visionbox Presents CHEKHOV ON SANTA FE DRIVE Tonight

Visionbox, a professional actors' studio and intermedia production company in Denver, will present Chekhov on Santa Fe Drive, scenes from the plays of Anton Chekhov, tonight, June 30th, 2013 at 7:00pm. This free Visionbox event will feature Visionbox Ensemble Members and Visionbox Actors.
